An August Wedding at The Ryland Inn in Whitehouse Station, NJ

Nicole and Mike’s August wedding at The Ryland Inn in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey had it all. Gorgeous August weather that wasn’t TOO hot, but we were graced with a stunning golden hour sunset by the end of the night. These two got lucky not only once but TWICE with an amazing sunset; the first time during their engagement session at Skylands Manor. We think it’s a reflection of the pure magic that is their relationship together! 😉

Wedding Day Details

The day kicked off with one of our faves on video AKAM Productions. We always know it’s going to be a good one when we have pals on board!
The bride wore a dress from White House Bride and the groom wore a tux from Tuxedo by Sarno. The bridesmaid dresses were Bill Levkoff from The Wedding Store at Liz Clinton.

The vision was: “Outdoors, Greenery, Florals, Elegant, Rustic, Relaxed, Dusty Blue”

Ryland Inn has its own rustic & modern elegance so the couple envisioned lots of simple eucalyptus, greenery & candles. The hints of blue really popped amidst the overall neutral color palette and everything felt clean, modern and fresh. Perfect for a summer wedding.

Tell us about yourselves!

“We met in high school, but didn’t actually talk to each other. I danced with Mike’s sister and we were really good friends. I actually drove Mike to school at one point but we didn’t speak to each other. Fast forward 6 years after graduating high school Mike’s sister asked me to hangout. When I went over to her house Mike was there… we got to talking and the rest is history! In our spare time we love spending time with our dogs going on walks, having date nights, doing house projects and binging new tv shows!”

And we loved this couple’s proposal story while on vacation in Punta Cana! Mike popped the question out on the beach before dinner. Then they took photo together out on the beach. These two take the sunshine with them wherever they go! Best of luck forever to Nicole and Mike!!
