Caitlin and Nick’s engagement session at The Venue at Carley Brook in Honesdale, Pennsylvania was pure perfection! Early May brought rolling green hills, soft light, and skies that shifted between clouds and warm sunset haze – the perfect backdrop for a session that felt relaxed and completely true to them.

From the start, their session felt more like spending time together than posing for photos. They brought an energy that was light, full of laughter and genuinely fun to be around. The whole session you could feel the love between these two.

One minute, they were standing beneath the clean white frame structure overlooking the hills, completely wrapped up in each other. The next, they were laughing on the grass with their dog, Moose, shoes sinking into the lawn as golden light filtered through the trees. The champagne pop at the end of the evening was the perfect finish: celebratory, slightly chaotic, and full of real reactions.

The landscape at Carley Brook gave the entire session room to breathe. Wide open hills, dramatic skies, and quiet corners of the property created a backdrop that felt both cinematic and peaceful. We truly loved exploring the venue with them – especially because it’s also where they are having their wedding day!
