Bright Spring Wedding at Rock Island Lake Club

Rebecca and Thomas’ April wedding at Rock Island Lake Club balanced lakeside charm with a clean, understated elegance. Set against the calm lake and early spring landscape, the day carried a natural palette that let the details speak for themselves. The ceremony took place beneath a wooden arbor dressed with soft florals in white and blush tones from Thistle Bee Florist.

Rebecca wore a fitted, strapless lace Kitty Chen Couture gown with intricate detailing. Her dress had a long, flowing train that moved easily in the breeze and was absolutely stunning! Thomas opted for a navy suit with black lapels; a sharp choice that added contrast while still fitting the relaxed tone of the day. Sticking with the blue theme, Rebecca’s bridesmaids wore various light blue Morilee dresses from Seng Couture, which tied in seamlessly with the groomsmen’s blue bow ties.

Throughout the day, you could truly feel the love between these two – they were full of smiles, laughter and later in the evening, the life of the party! Shawn from Elegant Music Group had the guests on the dance floor the whole night. Rebecca and Thomas truly thought of everything – even ending the night with a fun, late night treat from Wendy’s!

“Thomas and I met back in 2017 when we both worked at an Audi dealership! I was the receptionist and he was working in sales. We only started talking about 2 months into me working there, but have pretty much been inseparable ever since! Fast forward to 2023 – we got engaged in the Finger Lakes which is a place we love and visit a couple times a year. We are big cat people and have 2 tabbys named Pico and Cooper”
