Kelly and Greg’s October wedding at The Reserve at Perona Farms was everything we hoped for and more. A classic, fall day with a slight chill in the air. The color scheme was perfect for fall, and we just had a seriously good time working with this couple.

Their engagement session was also an awesome day at Perkins Memorial Tower. We loved their energy from the get-go. We particularly loved that their wedding date fell on October 2nd, 2022. Our OG backyard wedding date was 10/3/20 and our bigger wedding was postponed to 10/2/21. So when I greeted Kelly upon arrival, she had a little anniversary gift of wine for us. It was SO sweet!!

These two prepped at the onsite Carriage House, located in the back of the property by the willow trees. It was so convenient to walk them right out to the willows for their first look – which looked AMAZING in the fall!!

The colors were terracotta and olive. The vibe was casual “Tuscan rustic.” The bride’s dress was the Jenny Yoo Portia Gown from BHLDN and the bridesmaid dresses were from David’s Bridal.

Kelly and Greg expressed wanting timeless and true photos. A little moodiness, but still bright with dramatic colors evocative of their October wedding. Modern yet rustic, allowing The Reserve’s simplistic beauty to be naturally highlighted. We were able to use the tree-lined orchard, paths and cocktail courtyard. We love that courtyard in the Reserve because it has the feel of an old, Italian villa. 🙂

The ceremony was held in the glass ceiling space at the Reserve. Everything was on site, which made the day stress-free. 🙂 The sun was setting as the ceremony began. The entire day had a very romantic feeling. The rest of the evening was more candid and documentary style. And there was some killer dancing in the end!

“Greg is my best friend’s cousin, we met at her sweet 16 (even though he doesn’t remember lol). A few years later we met again at her 22nd birthday party and the rest is history!”
