Jane and Tyler described what they wanted from their wedding at The Chandelier at Flanders Valley as “we just want a fun party with our friends.” And these two got exactly what they wanted! The Chandelier in Flanders, New Jersey provided the perfect, cozy setting for their January wedding. Chilly weather led us inside to warm up, and we had to get creative in unexpected places. A little dusting of snow on the ground for photos was ideal to highlight a January wedding.

The color scheme was navy and burgundy with hints of green. The bride’s dress was from Say I Do Bridal & the groom’s navy suit was from Jos A Bank. Jane even had a wintry bridal cape to throw over herself when she got too cold!

This couple chose The Chandelier at Flanders Valley because of it’s close proximity to their home. The venue’s vibe is simple, elegant and classic. The most important thing to Jane and Tyler was having a big party and dancing with all of their friends and family! They did not want a formal, sit-down dinner but instead opted for a long “unlimited cocktail,” buffet style, so they could keep the party going!

Everything happened onsite, and the bride and groom were married in the intimate lower level of the venue in front of the twinkling Christmas trees. That’s the nice thing about getting married in January, sometimes you still get to have a little fun with Christmas decor! There was a first look, so we had plenty of time for photos before the ceremony and before the early winter sunset. We always highly recommend this!

“We are super sarcastic and try not to take ourselves too seriously. We love to watch football and be with our friends which I feel like everyone says, but we love forming connections with people and like to take time out of our schedules to see the people we care for. Our last show we binge-watched was Homeland but if Tyler had his way we would watch scary [shows/movies] all the time.”
