Victoria and Chris had their big day at the Valley Regency in Clifton, New Jersey. This local spot is close-to-home but isn’t “too jersey.” They’ve recently renovated and now have a more modern feel. The vibe is clean, polished, elegant and classic. And everything about their day was classy, but fun!

Bridesmaids wore burgundy dresses from Azazie. Florals were fresh with whites and greens. Chris and his groomsmen wore traditional black tuxes. Victoria even had a little faux fur shawl for keeping her arms warm during this Winter wedding in January.

A noteworthy part of this day was discovering that Steve and Victoria went to high school together! When they booked with us, I don’t think we all made the connection right away. It was really nice to be so local and this couple felt like old friends!

“We met through friends from college! We love traveling and exploring NYC and trying new restaurants!”

“A random text message from a great friend including three pictures and a phone number led to a blind date. Two Brooklyn Summers and five hours of conversation created something special. Pier A will always be a special place as this is where we first met. Victoria was living in Hoboken and Chris in NYC, a short distance away and many more dates meeting up at the spot and then going on an adventure.

The first date lead to the second (quickly), third, and so on. From exploring the city and its variety of restaurants to a night out involving a stack of scratch off tickets and a “free” night out, love was in the air. We quickly expanded our adventures with travel to countries abroad, experiencing the many amazing beaches, meals, & cities the world has to offer.

About three years later, we returned to Pier A. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not survive 2020. It was a beautiful day, with an amazing sunset out by the water. Chris dropped to a knee and Victoria said Yes!”
