The rain didn’t stop Julia + Dan from having a beautiful wedding day at the Ryland Inn in Whitehouse Station, NJ! The vision was romantic and classic with Springtime rustic elegance.

About the Couple

“We met in high school at 15/16. We love to spend time with our dog Jameson. Last show we binged together was The Sopranos.”

Ryland Inn is definitely a great place to be if you wind up with rain on your wedding day. There are so many little nooks and covered areas to work with, and the interior is just stunning. Steve and I keep clear umbrellas in our car for just such an occasion, and luckily had our assistant that day to hold an umbrella over us! The carport at Ryland is also excellent for a first look and group photos since you can really spread everyone out.

The inside ceremony space in the Grand Ballroom (which also gets converted to the reception space) has a large stone fireplace and wrought-iron chandeliers. There is something so cozy and inviting about photographing in this space. And everything feels clean and modern – it definitely had the rustic elegance that Julia was looking for!

We love that this couple had been together for SO long and even through the rain, their day went off without a hitch!
