Amanda and John’s New Jersey Botanical Gardens at Skylands Manor engagement session took place in November last year. The New Jersey Botanical Gardens are located in Ringwood, New Jersey. The Fall foliage was TOO good as we wandered all around the grounds.

How Did You Meet?

These two worked for separate companies, within the same building. One day, Amanda hopped on the elevator while wearing a Mets hat and John (also being a Mets fan) commented on her hat. The sparks flew from there.

John originally is from Staten Island, NY Amanda is from North Haledon, NJ. So we can all thank that elevator ride for their “meet-cute”!

How Did You Get Engaged?

Amanda got home from shopping and their dog had bandana on that said “Will you marry my daddy?” and in kitchen, John was already kneeling. She was totally surprised. Only his mom knew he was going to pop the question. Well, clearly she said yes and now their wedding date is set for December 2022!
