May Wedding at Crystal Point Yacht Club

Nicole and Brian’s May wedding at Crystal Point Yacht Club took place last Spring. As soon as we spoke to this couple, we loved their beach engagement story and the way in which the beach was where their lives integrated. It made their venue choice of Crystal Point Yacht Club down the shore that much more special. 🙂 Check out the engagement session we also did with them at the Asbury Park Boardwalk!

Simplistic Spring Vision

The vision was timeless and romantic with a slight nautical, rustic vibe. Nicole wanted a ton of candles and warm lighting with clean, neutral colors. The bride’s dress was from Castle Couture, bridesmaid dresses were The Dessy Group from Bella Bridesmaids and the groom’s suit was Indochino.

The bride’s vision for a Spring wedding came to life. The groom and groomsmen wore navy suits and the bridesmaids were in mauve and pale lilac. The decor consisted of greenery and dark wood. The centerpieces were greenery with glass candle pillars and gold votive candles.

Prep began at Crystal Point Yacht Club in Point Pleasant, NJ. Then we hopped on board the red trolley, courtesy of Long Branch Trolley Company and then headed over to the Asbury Park Boardwalk for photos under the abandoned casino so we could stay covered from the rain.
Finally, we then departed for St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Deal, NJ for a beautiful ceremony before heading back to Crystal Point Yacht Club for the reception.

We were so excited to work with our pal Amanda Kaminsky Videography who was on video for the day! It’s always so nice to work with a team that we are familiar with. Amanda is so laid-back and easy to work alongside.

Nicole & Brian quite literally weathered the weather, it down-poured nearly the entire day. But we personally think you can’t tell at all from the joy and Spring colors in all of these photos. Congrats again to Mr. & Mrs. Weil!
