What’s the best part about a wedding at Man Skirt Brewery? Well, the fact that it’s a wedding at a brewery! Steve and I are always seeking out great local breweries with their own craft brews wherever we go. So when Kelly contacted us and told us where she was having her wedding, we were so excited! We also love an opportunity to photograph an alternative and unique wedding.

Kelly and Chris had the most gorgeous, fall day imaginable! After an intimate ceremony, we took the couple and their bridal party to Lambert Tower at Garret Mountain Reservation  and we couldn’t believe the amazing, autumnal sun set that came through the trees just in time for portraits.

When we arrived at Man Skirt Brewery, it was most noteworthy that they had hand-crafted brews, string lights and pretty killer murals. The giant octopus mural was pretty sweet. Even more-so, we were pleasantly surprised the awesome dudes who work there actually wear man-skirts! It’s a pretty great place. The guests danced to the tunes of local NJ band, The Black Flamingos. Of course, Steve and I could not leave without a growler and some cans. Our personal favorite beer was the Blonde Bastard. We highly recommend stopping by Man Skirt Brewery if you’re in the Hackettstown area – or looking for a unique, intimate wedding venue!
