It’s very important to Steve and I that we are an inclusive wedding photography team, therefore we were honored to be a part of this LGBTQ wedding. Jenn & Vikki were the most beautiful, loving brides. We were so excited that they chose to have their wedding in the Fall, which is our favorite time of year to photograph weddings.
These two were the sweetest from the moment we met them. They were the most easy-going couple. After our initial meet-up for their engagement session around Hoboken, NJ, we felt like we had become fast friends. The emotion and deep love they have for each other was palpable and so inspiring. They chose to hold their wedding at the Westwood in Garwood, NJ. An intimate space, it felt perfect for their friends and family to gather in honor of their love.
The brides had a first look waterside at Nomahegan Park in Cranford, NJ, with absolutely gorgeous Fall foliage as the backdrop. Despite the surprisingly chilly weather, these two were so eager and excited to see each other for the first time as brides and embrace one another.
The intimate ceremony, officiated by Jenn’s brother, was heart-warming and brought a tear to our eyes. The power of love was so strong. He made a point to say how it’s been such a long journey for two brides to legally marry in this state and overcome all of the odds.
After the ceremony, a killer party followed and this group sure knew how to dance! They had a surprise La Hora Loca for their guests, lead by Crespita Entertainment’s dancers and stilt-walkers. We honestly had such a blast photographing it all. Congratulations again to the brides Jenn & Vikki!
