Kelcie envisioned her and Zak’s wedding at the Meadow Wood Manor as a bohemian, garden-type wedding. Though, they wanted a venue that was very elegant and romantic. They chose Meadow Wood and found a way to meld both of those styles together. Rather than going for the typical Fall color schemes of burnt oranges and deep burgundies, the color scheme involved clean shades of blue, gray and white. All this couple wanted was for all of their guests to have a fun time and drink even more! With some fun Jewish traditions, like the hora sprinkled throughout the day, everyone absolutely had a fantastic time.
We were so glad to be a part of the Sweetwood’s day. There was such a positive energy the whole time, absolutely nothing could keep Kelcie from going with the flow. We love a bride who can stay cool and collected. We had them see each other for the first time at Hidden Valley Park. There was beautiful light the entire time. Kelcie was so calm walking up to Zak, but once he turned around they were just so excited to see each other – it was adorable! And did we mention that Kelcie’s BHLDN dress (with pockets!) was just swoon-worthy!
Kelcie and Zak were all about the subtle details. We particularly appreciated the little American Sign Language pin meaning “love” that Zak wore on his lapel. All of the Jewish traditions throughout the day were so beautiful. From the intimate ketubah signing, to the breaking of the glass and the hora, it was such a wonderful time for all of the guests. Congratulations once again to Mr. & Mrs. Sweetwood! #kelciehitthezakpot
