Local business Mayernik Kitchen opened up near us and we were so excited to stop by! I came in specifically for elderberry syrup and wound up connecting with the shop owner and herbalist, Shannon.

Shannon and her husband Matt run this great little apothecary. They specialize in medicinal plants, tinctures, syrups, infused oils & vinegars and fermented foods. I couldn’t believe such a great shop like this opened up right here in Pompton Plains, NJ! After chatting with Shannon for a bit, I told her if she ever needed some photos done of the shop/products to just send me a message! We reconnected a few weeks later and I stopped by to take some photos. The shop gets such great natural light, and Shannon has curated the store so beautifully. It made my job easy to just come in and document the space!

Mayernik Kitchen is also a wonderful place to stop by for little gifts like jewelry, candles and pottery. Stop on by for some self-care items or gifts for a loved one! You can also shop online and place orders through their website if you aren’t local.
