Hotel LBI Wedding May Springtime Jersey Shore Hailey Paige

Nick and Rachel’s Hotel LBI wedding in Ship Bottom, NJ reminded us not to take weddings or life too seriously. Your day should be just that, YOURS. A reflection of you, your partner and your relationship. Do what feels right to you both, make your own traditions. In lieu of some other ceremony pastimes such as a sand ceremony or unity tree, Nick and Rachel did a “dumpling exchange” during their ceremony, where they fed each other dumplings – which we absolutely loved. Just a friendly reminder that there aren’t any set rules and you can do whatever the hell you want.

You may have previously seen their engagement session at Jockey Hollow, where their dog Pepper was also present. They rocked Doc Marten’s and drank beer called unicorn farts. 🙂 We love a couple that knows how to have a good time.

The bride’s dress was Hayley Paige from The White Gown. And we canNOT overlook her Sophia Webster butterfly heels!! The bridesmaid dresses were Azazie, but the Maid of Honor’s velvet dress was from Revelry. The groom’s tux was from The Tux Guys.

The color scheme included greens like dusty sage, eucalyptus, and agave. The theme was tropical, modern, boho-chic, and whimsical. A lot of monstera leaves with pops of color!…and overall relaxed, fun & chill beach vibes.
More from the bride’s vision: “Season: Spring/Early Summer…I was channeling a tropical destination wedding (since that’s what I always wanted growing up until I became an adult and realized how difficult that is and how much more stressful it is. hahaha.”

Our good friends Alexa and Nick of Folded Crane Films were on video that day and Giuseppe from Love of Music Entertainment was the DJ. We all were in favor of the emo/punk playlist at a reception.

Tell us about yourselves!

“We make through a crazy ex-friend. It’s a funny story. In our spare time we like to watch shows, play games, eat, and hang out with our dog, Pepper. Nick proposed in the cutest way ever…with south African Penguins!! Yes Penguins…It was amazing.”
