The incredibly talented graphic designer, Jordan Wannemacher, reached out about having updated portraits taken at her home at the time in Montclair, NJ last June (*she has since moved). We love getting creative with other creatives. Helping revamp and freshen up your site and bios with new photos is imperative to the creative process. Let’s face it, we live in an age where everyone wants to know who you are and what you’re all about to buy what you’re selling. But Jordan doesn’t really need any help in that department, if you aren’t already hooked let me humble brag for her for a sec. She is so talented that she has designed a number of book covers/interiors, including one for Oprah… YES. THAT OPRAH. If you’ve seen “The Path Made Clear” on bookshelves, then yes that was Jordan’s design.
It was so fun getting to know Jordan and seeing the innerworkings of her creative space. We have a lot in common including a love of Barbara, Bruce and charcuterie cheeses. We laughed, we played around and I photographed her in the zone and little details in her design space, as well as some of her book designs/new business cards. Listen, we all need content. So when I do sessions like this for creatives I love to showcase the environment they’ve put their personal touches into. Again, we want to know who YOU are and what makes you tick.
