Krista, Andrew & one-year old Conor met me for a family session at Turtle Beach, part of the Delaware Water Gap in NJ.
One of our brides gifted her brother’s family a session with us. We were overjoyed to meet more of her family! And I especially was excited to meet little Conor. He was the most expressive one-year old ever. Krista & Andrew just knew they wanted to have their shoot somewhere at the Delaware Water Gap in New Jersey. I got there early and scoped out Turtle Beach. In the fall, it’s pretty barren and deserted – but hey, that makes for a perfect photo location! Total privacy. We saw maybe three other people around the whole time we were there.
Krista prepared with lots of cute, fall props. Pumpkins, mums, an apple crate to seat Conor in and, of course, matching father-son hats.
If you’re wondering why we schedule around golden hour, this shoot will give you all the answers! The way the sunlight peaked over the water as it set, gave us all those warm light tones. Hands down, it’s the best part of the day.
This family was so sweet, we are so glad we had the opportunity to work with them!
