Choosing Silas Condict County Park for this engagement session was a no-brainer. Gabi & Benji love to hike. But sometimes doing an intense hike for a summer engagement session can leave you sweaty and out-of-breath. Silas Condict is the perfect woodsy backdrop with a moderate hiking trail that won’t leave you sweating profusely. Also, even if the park is busy the trails are usually pretty secluded. Perfect for an engagement session!

How did you meet?

We met at Brandeis University in the fall of 2014! We had a ton of mutual friends, and the first time we really spent significant time together was a LOT:

1. Thursday night we had a date at an amazing Thai restaurant in Waltham called “Baan Thai,” then ended with ice cream at the famous Lizzy’s.

2. Friday night we went to Benji’s fraternity’s formal.

3. Saturday night we went to Gabi’s sorority’s formal.

It’s a good thing we liked each other right off the bat!!

What do you like to do together in your spare time?

We go on runs together nearly every morning. We usually run along East River Park on the Upper East Side of Manhattan where we live, but we also really love running along the boardwalk in Margate, NJ when we are with Benji’s family at their beach house.

We love to hike and explore new outdoorsy places in the Northeast. We both care a lot about social impact, much of which is rooted in our time together at Brandeis where we began learning about and pursuing various meaningful causes.

In normal times, we also love going to new Broadway shows, having a huge tub of popcorn at the movie theater, and eating at all the amazing restaurants NYC has to offer. 🙂

And of course, we also love visiting Gabi’s family in Florida where we love to go out for nice boat rides in the Gulf of Mexico and look out for dolphins.

What is the last show you binge-watched?

THE SOPRANOS and we are OBSESSED!!!! We both loved the show and thought it was so philosophical and well done.

One of the few great things about this awful pandemic was that it gave us the opportunity to watch all 7 seasons/85 episodes in a relatively short period of time… it was really memorable and awesome!
