Brendan and Kiersten’s Waterloo Village wedding took place last July in Stanhope, NJ. The vision was a timeless, Summer wedding. Modern and rustic, with an outdoor ceremony among the trees. Their adorable corgi, Lottie, was the flower girl! The bride’s dress was from Lovely Bride and the bridesmaid dresses were Azazie. The groom’s suit was Ralph Lauren and the groomsmen wore suits from The Black Tux.

There was a first look, so were able to have all of the important photos completed before the ketubah signing and ceremony. The ceremony was secular but included some Jewish traditions such as the chuppah built by the groom and the breaking of the glass. The sun did not set until 8:30pm, so the only other time we snuck the bride and groom out was for is 5-10 minutes of golden hour. And, it was most definitely worth it! Ultimately, our approach is always for the bride and groom to be able to dance & party at their reception without interruptions. We did get lucky enough to have Brendan and Kiersten come out one more time for a quick night shot by the firepit. Waterloo Village provides a firepit after sundown for guests to mingle around.

It also makes for a quick romantic escape as the bride and groom take a few extra minutes alone by the fire toward the end of the night!

After meeting in Palm Desert at a friend’s house, we went on our first date to LACMA.

MAY 10, 2015
Brendan graduated from USC and Kiersten graduated from Chapman University.

MAY 25, 2016
After a few months dating long distance, we moved to NYC together!

MAY 08, 2020
During the pandemic we decided to fulfill Kiersten’s lifelong dream of adopting a corgi. We added Lottie to our family!

DECEMBER 20, 2020
Brendan proposed to Kiersten on a beach on Lopez Island near Seattle, WA.

In Spring of 2021, we photographed their engagement session at Laurelwood Arboretum. And their wedding took place last July, 2022!

Congratulations again to Brendan and Kiersten!
