Kiersten and Brendan scheduled their engagement session for early Spring. We were lucky enough to have a super warm day that reached 80 degrees, but nothing could stop the 15 mph wind! These two are so go with the flow, though, so it was actually kind of fun to shoot between the big wind gusts. They brought their absolutely adorable corgi named Lottie and we wandered all around the gardens.
Believe it or not, there had been snow on the ground just a few weeks prior. And suddenly it was so warm, but that’s classic New Jersey weather in early Spring for you! The couple chose Laurelwood Arboretum for their session, which we love. This place is such a hidden gem. Kiersten and Brendan originally tossed around the idea of Storm King for their session, so it was pretty cool when we happened to randomly stumble upon some sculptural artwork hidden throughout the paths!
“We both love our dog Lottie. We love to travel, watch tv, read and relax together.” Brendan proposed on the San Juan Islands, off the coast of Seattle.
So very excited for their wedding next Summer at Waterloo Village!
