Conservatory at Sussex County Fairgrounds May Wedding

Rebekah and Brandon’s Spring wedding took place last May at The Conservatory at Sussex County Fairgrounds. The entire day from start to finish was a romantic dream filled with blooming, colorful flowers. The couple saw this venue and didn’t have to look anywhere else. They loved the rustic vibe at the Conservatory with all of its natural light.

Description of Wedding Vibe

“The vibe is going to be very natural, yet romantic. The bridesmaid dresses are a deep olive green (satin material) that shine in the sun. The flowers are going to be a wildflower variety with different colors (white, yellow, and some peaches, blues, and lavender). It’s going to be Springtime so hopefully, everything will be coming back to life (lots of greens and flowers, etc). The men will be in classic black and white with boutonnieres. I’m hoping for a lot of golden hour-type photos, and I love that the venue has a lot of windows for all the natural light.”

The bride’s dress was by Made with Love in the style “Jack.” The bridesmaid dresses were from Revelry in the style “Skye Satin” in Olive Green. The groom’s tux was from Men’s Wearhouse.

The couple got ready on site and opted to do a first look with a private vow reading. The weather was perfect and they basked in the sunshine during their outdoor ceremony in the courtyard. The sun set is much later that time of the year, around 8:15pm, so we pulled Rebekah and Brandon out for golden hour where they danced in the glow of the last light of the day.

The evening ended with cake cutting and an outdoor sparkler send off. The guests lined up out in the courtyard as the couple shared a private last dance. Then the staff at the Conservatory opened up the big garage doors and the couple ran out to join their guests as everyone cheered in celebration. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day to photograph!!
