Have you ever been so distracted by something so cute you couldn’t focus?? That’s what happened to us when Joanie & Chris brought their Corgi named Maple with them to their engagement session at Hidden Pond Tree Farm!

We are big dog-lovers over here. And who doesn’t love the sight of a waffle-butt corgi?? We had to keep composed as soon and J & C helped Maple hop out of the car. We knew she was coming, this couple told us about all of their holiday ideas for the shoot! But it still didn’t prepare us for our excitement. Joanie also took my engagement session advice #6  and got crafty!! She made Maple her very own twinkle light holly leash! I have to say, she outdid my own eucalyptus leash.

Joanie, Chris and Maple played around the Hidden Pond Tree Farm Christmas trees. Then after a quick outfit change, we took some shots of these three in their matching Rangers jerseys. (Yes, all three of them – Maple had her very own doggo-sized jersey, too!)

Are you ever too old for Christmas PJs? The Answer is: NO, absolutely not!! 🙂

The next phase of the shoot was the best part. Joanie & Chris changed into their Christmas PJs!! EVERYONE should own a pair of these!! I don’t care how old you are, there’s ALWAYS a time and a place for Christmas PJs. They donned their jammies (of course, Maple, too) and poured some hot toddies. They included us on the hot toddies and we are NOT mad about it haha, they were absolutely delicious. Maple was plopped into her little red Radio Flyer wagon while mom and dad decorated the tree until the sun set. It was the best way to end a Christmas engagement session!

J & C were so fun and Maple had a BLAST!!
