Plans Change, Hearts Don’t

Jackie & Kyle originally had a different kind of wedding planned. It was much larger and at a completely different venue. But, like so many other couples (including ourselves) they kept their chins up and kept moving. They found the Inn at Glencairn in Princeton, NJ to hold their much smaller, intimate micro-wedding ceremony. It was the perfect setting for their immediate family to gather safely outside in August.

We’re so glad Jackie still had the chance to wear her Kleinfeld’s dress! She had an ordeal picking it up in the city after they had been shut down during the quarantine. She looked like a total stunner, we’re so glad she got to wear it!

Vendors who have your back

We were overjoyed that Jackie & Kyle still had us on board, as well as her videographer Carianne and her officiant Reverend Maureen Jeffries. We work with these two vendors frequently – Maureen was even our OWN officiant at our backyard ceremony in October and she will officiate for us again next October at our *fingers crossed* bigger wedding, too! It was so nice to have some familiar faces working with us at the Inn at Glencairn. We may have been at a different venue, but it felt right! All of us, including the florist (A Touch of Elegance) and hair + makeup (Beyoutiful Bride) just wanted Jackie & Kyle to have the most amazing day.

These two have been together for SO long, since middle school to be exact. Who could’ve ever known after all these years their wedding plans would be derailed. But it didn’t stop them!! #loveisnotcancelled is the mantra for these two soulmates! As Rev. Jeffries eloquently put it: “Not everybody is lucky enough to have a Kyle, but we love that Jackie does!”
