April Wedding at the Ryland Inn Restaurant and Events

Michaela and Jason’s April wedding took place at the Ryland Inn in Whitehouse Station, NJ. The sun was beaming the entire day and there was so much warmth and happiness.

The vision was elegant and romantic, with a slight touch of boho-chic. The color scheme consisted of neutrals, ivory, champagne, rust, desert rose and midnight blue. A modern, Spring wedding with “rustic elegance,” allowed Ryland Inn’s simplistic beauty to shine through. Ryland Inn was the last venue the couple saw and they knew it was the right place for their wedding. They love how clean and polished it felt, but cozy with the fireplace in the Grand Ballroom.

The flowers by Carousel of Flowers had the perfect amount of simplicity with a slight pop of the “rust” color to fit Michaela’s color palette. The bride’s dress was Essense of Australia from White House Bride, the bridesmaid dresses were from Revelry and the groom’s suit was from The Clothing Center.

The Timing of Events

The couple began the day getting ready at nearby Somerset Hills Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, which is a beautiful off-site option. It’s close in proximity to the Ryland Inn and offers beautiful, spacious suites with plenty of natural light. Then, we all drove over to the venue and the bride and groom shared their private first look on the back patio. We used every corner of the venue, including the carport for formal photos. After photos were completed, the ceremony also took place on the back patio.

We love when couples choose to do a first look and get all of the important photos done prior to the ceremony. When the reception began, these two shared their first dance followed by a joyous Hora. The couple went up in the chair-lift and their expressions speak for themselves. We had a wonderful time with Michaela & Jason and wish them so much happiness!!
