Jaqi and Jonathan’s wedding at Rock Island Lake Club perfectly encapsulated their love and joy in the company of their closest friends and family. With expansive lake views and even a bright yellow Moke to ride around in, Rock Island gave them the perfect canvas to celebrate.

Jaqi wore a gorgeous flowing JaeHee Bridal gown. Jonathan looked sharp in a custom suit from Alan David Custom in NYC. They snuck away into the woods for a private first look, with only the trees (and a few happy tears) as witnesses.

Moreover, Strange Vine Studio brought the vision to life with floral designs full of earthy, romantic tones. Their work perfectly echoed the warmth of the summer day. Meanwhile, guests enjoyed lakeside cocktails and a little close-up magic from Andy Gershenzon during cocktail hour. This set the tone for a relaxed, lively evening.

As the evening unfolded, Jaqi and Jonathan leaned into every laugh, every spin on the dance floor, and every little adventure — with Taylor Event Group keeping the energy high all night long. Their wedding day felt like a beautiful chapter in the story of their life together, filled with beautiful and intimate moments.

Tell us about yourselves!

Jon and Jaqi met in 2019 and really hit it off at their mutual friend’s wedding! They hope for their own wedding to inspire a new love found between two other wonderful people, just as they found their own spark. (Awwww).

Here’s to a future filled with endless love and joy for Jaqi and Jonathan in this journey together!
