What happens when a professional wedding planner throws a wedding? You get a certifiable rager, of course. Nicole and Mike’s wedding day at David’s Country Inn was like no other. There was an LED robot, a live saxophone player, smoke canons, outfit changes, a mozzarella guy, a cannoli guy, the list goes on and on. Nicole works for Weddings with Verve and we knew after our first consult we were in for a ride.

The Details

The bride’s dress was Enzoani from Tina’s bridal and her second dress change was from Azazie. The bridesmaid dresses were a mix from Revelry & Baltic Born and the tuxes were from Robert’s Tuxedo. It was a big blowout rager set in October. As an Autumn wedding with saloon/speakeasy vibes, the feel was dramatic. David’s Country Inn is inherently historical and vintage, which played into Nicole’s vision.

“Our next chapter begins here – we are going for a dark/moody vintage vibe. Seating chart will be a book, every other center piece is piled up books, table numbers are chapter numbers with famous love quotes. Our accent colors are dark blue and gold. All bridesmaids are wearing different dresses in all shades of dark green (Mike and I met on St. Paddy’s and the green symbolizes that). The flowers are all going to be dark & moody with roses, blue thistle, etc.”

Mike did a little getting ready offsite at a nearby hotel, while Nicole and her girls got ready in the Warren suite. Nicole had so many amazing details. The day was meticulously planned. And the bride and groom did what they do best – they just had FUN.

“We met at Shannon Rose in Clifton on Saint Patrick’s day in 2019 and got engaged on Saint Patrick’s day 2021. We love to watch cooking shows together and go to markets on the weekend to try new foods from small business vendors.”
