Justin and Tori finally had their long-awaited and well-deserved wedding day at Mountain View Manor in Glen Spey, NY. Between the pandemic and welcoming their son Parker into the world, they reached out to us about cancelling their original wedding. Lo and behold, later down the road, they decided the wedding would be back on and they wanted to know if we were still available. It was kismet, we were available for the new date and we couldn’t have been happier. We had really connected with these two over their first consult and we were so glad it was all coming together for them.

The Details

For this couple, their love was MAGNETIC. In each other’s arms was clearly where they felt most at-home. The joy between them and their entire families finally watching their unity left us overcome with emotion. It started with every single thoughtful detail they put into the day and ended with the energetic dancefloor at reception. The color scheme consisted of dark green, mauve, blues, pops of yellow and burgundy.
Tori described the day as “Casual/fancy/moody/Fall vibes.” For the month of October she envisioned, eucalyptus, arches and pampas grass with “asymmetrical floral arrangements.”

The bride’s dress was from the Bridal Salon of Dix Hills, the bridesmaid dresses were from Azazie and the groom and groomsmen suits were from Men’s Wearhouse.

It was also a sweet, personal touch that their ceremony officiant was their best friend, John. The whole day felt very personalized to Tori and Justin’s love.

Tell us about yourselves!

“We met in College, in our Campus Glee Club! We are so dorky, we love to go to comic cons. Our bedroom is filled with comic book art and art work of our favorite TV shows. We love the mountains. Our College, in New Paltz, is surrounded by Mountains and Mohonk Mountain is actually where he proposed! And our venue looks like the Mohonk Mountain House which is why we chose it.”
