Danielle and Vince had to change plans and downsize due to the pandemic. But we have to say, they had one of the most beautiful “microweddings” ever at Wave Resort in Long Branch, NJ.
Even though they had the most perfect, intimate ceremony with just their closest family and friends present, they’re still planning on having the bigger wedding, too. After having done this ourselves, we have to say it’s the best of both worlds. You get to celebrate twice, both with a smaller scale event and the larger one you hoped for. Danielle & Vince had the most gorgeous September day. Blue skies lead to a picture-perfect peachy pink sunset on the beach. They had so much fun taking photos around Pier Village and on the carousel.
“We met at a bar in Hoboken through a mutual friend right before he was getting ready to move back to Philly, where he [Vince] grew up. We spent the first year of our relationship traveling back and forth between NJ and Philly. He finally moved back to NJ, but we go back to Philly often and he proposed to me in front of his old apartment there. We spend our weekends mostly relaxing, spending time with family, going out for dinner, drinking wine and watching Netflix. We are always watching repeats of The Office and Parks and Recreation! We have fun together no matter what we are doing. We are in the process of looking for a house and planning our wedding so it has been a lot of fun craziness!”
Back when we did their engagement session we chose this location for the nearby Jockey Hollow Bar (to commemorate the bar they had met in) and then drove over to Jockey Hollow Park. Two different places, but very close to each other in Morristown, NJ. We ALWAYS recommend grabbing a drink before your session anyway to loosen you up. 🙂
We’re rooting for Danielle & Vince! Their new wedding date is set for September 2021 at the Palace at Somerset Park.
