I don’t think we’ve ever taken the time to blog a bridal shower. And we can’t think of a better reason to blog this sweet bridal shower than for the sake of our good friend Alexa of Folded Crane Films. Her and [her now husband] Nick have become extremely good friends of ours since working our first wedding together as a team in 2019. We were honored that they chose us to photograph their wedding day and I was super excited to photograph her bridal shower at AMA Pizza in Hillsborough, NJ. I had the opportunity to get to know her family as well as her bridal party as she prepared for her wedding day!

Between photographing the shower and previously working with them for their engagement session in Asbury Park, the whole wedding process solidified our friendship even further!

One really nice anecdote was that I unknowingly sat with Alexa and Nick’s former high school teacher. Yes – they’ve been together THAT long. They used to pass each other loves notes in the form of folded paper cranes – hence the name of their business. How cute is that?? I got to hear a lot of great stories about her observations of Nick and Alexa’s blossoming relationship. And her husband, another former teacher, turned out to be the officiant at their wedding!

This bridal shower was so lovely. Filled with flowers, games and pizza – it was a joy to be there!
