Jenn and Justin’s Silas Condict County Park engagement session was a beautiful, October golden hour session. Silas Condict County Park is located in Kinnelon, New Jersey. This is the time of year when the foliage is really peaking. Silas offers an environment of woods and a lake with a moderate hiking trail. We always recommend this location for couples who enjoy hiking together, but don’t want to break a total sweat and get disheveled on a full-blown hike for their session.

Let’s talk outfits! We always advise couples that you can bring 2 outfit changes, one causal to start and one dressier for sunset. Jenn and Justin chose to do one outfit and they’re a perfect example of this! You don’t have to do two outfits! We know that can stress some people out. If you’re only going to do one, then heed their example. Dressy-casual like you’re going out on a date night!

“We met through an online app called Happn. It’s not a popular one, but the way it works is it tracks user location, and if you cross paths with another person, you can connect (as long as you both “like” each other). The idea behind it is to connect people who might have similar interests (ex: favorite restaurant or bar you frequent at the same time). We actually weren’t in the same place though – I was with my friend looking for NYE shoes for her; he was down the street at Jose Tejas. Our phones picked up our locations and that’s how we “crossed paths.” It worked out for us, but it can definitely be questionable ????. Anyway, a few things we love: traveling , trying new restaurants, discovering new and yummy treats, watching TV shows together, and spending time with friends!”
