Steph and Joey were expecting parents-to-be and asked us to photograph their maternity session last October in Ringwood, New Jersey. We were trying to find tulip fields in August, but Steph’s baby bump wasn’t quite ready yet! When we pushed to October, I told her we just had to do Skylands Manor! The meadows were all overgrown and the golden hour glow is unreal there in the fall.

Now, we tell of our couples you don’t have to model for us. HOWEVER, Steph has done modelling. SO the girl definitely knows her angles. And her bold outfit choices were unlike anything we’ve seen at a maternity session, and we loved the way she unabashedly rocked it.

Since this session, these two have welcomed their baby to the world and we hope to work with the family again soon!
