Angela and Kristopher’s October engagement session at Liberty State Park in Jersey City was the most picturesque Fall day. The foliage was peaking and the day was so clear. By the waterfront, we had excellent views of the skyline as well as the Statue of Liberty. Angela wore a silver dress that mirrored the cityscape. Everything seemed to fall into place, much like their relationship.

A Real Life RomCom

As Kris ascended the escalator at O’Hare International Airport, the serendipity of the moment unfolded. In a classic meet-cute scenario, Kris dropped his headphones, unaware that destiny was about to play its hand. Angela, not realizing it was Kris, tapped him on the shoulder and kindly said, “Sir, you dropped your headphones.”

Angela and Kris were so surprised that Angela, in her initial astonishment, thought she might be in the wrong airport. How did you get engaged?

These two were engaged in Barcelona, a special place for Angela as she studied abroad there her Junior year of college. They returned on a special trip for her birthday. The day after her birthday, Kris proposed! Before they had reconnected in the airport, Angela always felt like he was one that got away – but in the end they found each other, and are now entering the next phase of life together!

Angela and Kris travel a lot. Spontaneous trips together are part of what makes their relationship bond stronger. Since they reconnected in an airport, it’s only fitting they make time to honor that tradition and continue to create memories of travel together!

Now, we’re looking forward to their wedding very soon in April 2024 at Lake Mohawk Country Club!
