Last May, Kasey and Mony’s engagement at Fonthill Castle in Doylestown, PA, faced unexpected challenges due to inclement weather. Mony had envisioned a picturesque proposal right in front of the castle, but the rain had other plans. Undeterred by the downpour, he found the perfect spot to just go ahead and pop the question! A friend with a camera tagged along, cleverly disguising the shoot as portfolio-building. Little did Kasey know what was about to happen. Despite the relentless weather, Kasey said yes and love prevailed. 🙂
Fast forward to last October, the couple met me at the historic Waterloo Village in Stanhope, New Jersey, for their engagement session. Surrounded by the rustic & historical village and scenic landscapes, Kasey and Mony’s love story unfolded against this Autumnal backdrop rich in history.
With the memories of their rainy engagement still fresh, Kasey and Mony embraced the opportunity to create new moments together. As they wandered through the cobblestone paths and explored the quaint structures of Waterloo Village, their affection for each other was palpable. They were not afraid to goof off in front of me – which made me SO very happy. I also got a little peek into their world of inside jokes.
As the sun set on their October engagement session, Kasey and Mony popped some champagne in celebration as we looked ahead with eager anticipation of their upcoming wedding at David’s Country Inn in October 2024. Surrounded by loved ones, they will exchange vows and begin a new chapter of their lives together, filled with love and guaranteed laughter.
As they prepare to say “I do” in the picturesque setting of David’s Country Inn, we are just so lucky we’re along for the ride to document it all!
“We met at Barnes and Noble – I was a barista and Mony was a customer. It was a slow day, so we made conversation while one of my coworkers made his drink (a venti PSL – I was really excited about Fall and Mony was indecisive so I upsold him lol). I noticed where he sat down and kept trying to think of excuses to talk to him, but nothing seemed, like, normal enough, so I didn’t. When he left I was pretty convinced I’d never see him again. Lucky for me though, he came back! I was really excited to get to talk to him again, but I was also kind of kicking myself for being a little obsessed with this guy that I’d only met once and talked to for a total of about 3 minutes. Turns out he was doing the same thing… which is why he came back. Eventually, he asked me out (fun fact: on the same day that I got a puppy- great day for me) and the rest is pretty much history.”
An ACTUAL meet-cute. Brb, “Aww-ing” until forever.
