Amanda and Chris wanted something woodsy near some water for their engagement session environment. So we decided to meet at Liffy Island in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey for their September session.
Liffy Island is a really relaxing, moderate trail in Lake Hopatcong. It’s a great option if you want a woodsy feel without doing a full-blown exhausting hike. The trail opens up to a long, wooden bridge that connects to the “island,” which is perfect for some cool, perspective walking shots. The views across the lake area are calming as you cross the bridge. When you come out to the other side there’s even more woods to explore.
Amanda and Chris had SO much fun together. They joked around and didn’t take anything too seriously. This is the energy we live for during engagement sessions! A couple that can just be together with ease.
These two spend their time together enjoying hobbies such as roller derby and fitness. Their wedding will be a private, backyard ceremony this coming September. Cheers to Amanda and Chris!
