Ally and Chad’s The Liberty House Restaurant October wedding in Jersey City, New Jersey was a day of love and joy! We first photographed their January engagement session at Liberty State Park, which is within the same area of Jersey City overlooking the skyline and Statue of Liberty. But the weather was a total 360! It was incredibly cold for their session and we even had some snow flurries! However, on their wedding day in October it was positively perfect weather. Mild and warm, you couldn’t ask for more!

Wedding Details

The bride and groom prepped at the Hyatt House Jersey City before heading to their first look, which took place just behind Liberty House with views of the skyline. They had such a sweet and private moment together, there were tears!!

The vision was elegant, romantic and candle-lit with white flowers and lots of greenery. The bride’s dress was from Lovely Bride, bridesmaids dresses were from Petal and Pup and the groom’s suit was from Nordstrom. The entire day was overall laidback, casual and fun.

It’s noteworthy to mention that Ally and her sister Nikki run their very own hair salon, Ally x Nikki Hair, so the bride’s sister was her hair stylist! We love a bad ass girl boss team – and they’re twin sisters!

Since the weather gods were smiling down on them, they were able to have their evening ceremony behind the Liberty House with twinkling views of the skyline. The evening ended with a fireworks show. The whole day was just incredible. Congrats again to Ally & Chad!
