Michaela and Jason met with me by the Hoboken Waterfront. Beginning near the train station, we strolled down the Hudson River and up the cobblestone streets. We even visited the bar where they first met. A gorgeous sunset gave way to magic hour with golden light hitting the city skyline behind them.
The Hoboken Waterfront definitely is not a private place, but this couple was SO natural and fun together. It’s hard to ignore all the passersby, but we love when the rest of the world falls away and you just focus on each other. The best part is ducking into the more secluded cobblestone streets that feel very old world and European. Although they are popular spots for photos, we never feel like it’s too crowded. Hardly anyone is ever there!
“We met through mutual friends on a night out in Hoboken in 2016. We enjoy visiting local wineries and breweries, going to the beach, having movie nights, and hiking with our rescue pup, Nash. We’re currently binging Schitt’s Creek on Netflix.”
Michaela and Jason got engaged around last Thanksgiving. They went for massages and dinner, while their friend set up their apartment with tealight candles and roses.
We cannot wait for their wedding next April at Ryland Inn!
