We are so excited to share Megan & George’s Early Fall Hoboken Engagement Session! A little rain in the forecast completely held off for a beautiful, late September evening shoot. We used the Lackawanna train station, Hudson River, alleyways, textured walls, exposed brick and cobblestone streets. Megan & George live in the city so Hoboken NJ was the perfect halfway point for all of us and they definitely wanted an urban vibe. We were a bit early in the season for fall foliage, but we managed to find some trees around Pier A Park that actually had some turning leaves!
We love shooting a Hoboken engagement session in late September. Temps are still pretty mild and a little Summer-y. But there’s a coolness in the air and the leaves are just starting to work their magic. When you have a couple as easy-going as Megan & George, our jobs are that much easier.
These two are just some pretty awesome people, and we bonded over sharing the same wedding month this coming October 2020! We truly couldn’t be any more excited to photograph their wedding at David’s Country Inn!
The rain clouds broke and the most amazing light and shadows hit the side of this building at the most perfect time!
We are big fans of exposed brick over here.
The champagne didn’t exactly “pop” but it still made for some cute photos!
If anyone asks, blame us for the fact you’re day-drinking in public, lol.
