We asked Lauren & Pete what vibes they were going with for their wedding at FEAST at Round Hill, and they replied with “We are going with good vibes, haha!” Their approach was low-maintenance in terms of decorating but with major color splashes. Lauren herself is a stationary designer and even made her own invites and signage! You can view her website here: Pen & Pulp Design Co.
Their venue, FEAST at Round Hill, is eclectic on it’s own so they decided to accent the historical features inherent to the space that give it character. There were so many amazing, vibrant pops of color. The bride and bridesmaids bouquets from Bloomery Flower Studio were visually stunning. The pop against the turning fall leaves in mid-October was an amazing contrast.
The main color scheme was navy blue and deep teal to offset everything else. The floral bouquets contrasted against the solid bridesmaid dresses with super bright, hot pink, orange and yellow florals with greenery and bright ribbon tails. Additionally, the groomsmen also had colorful boutonnieres!
The venue has really fun gardens on the property and we chose their first look spot to be the part of the grounds with unique sculptures and hanging lanterns. There were fantastic blooming flowers all around that were just as vibrant as Lauren’s bouquet. There was just so much color everywhere!! Later on, the ceremony took place outside in the venue’s garden. It was the first chilly day of the year and they opted to provide little blanket-shawls and hot cocoa for guests. This was such a nice touch for welcoming fall!
They built their wedding arch themselves to get married under and the florist decorated the arch with the same colors as the bouquets. FEAST at Round Hill also has a field that we whisked Lauren and Pete out to post-ceremony. Afterwards, we ran out with just bride and groom. That’s when the sunset burst into incredible colors. It was almost as if the natural beauty was responding to how colorful this wedding had been in general!
Pete had Spiderman socks and the interior of his son’s suit had Spiderman lining! At the time, he was 5 years old and was so excited about this! At the ceremony, Lauren gifted his son a necklace and they all put thumb-prints on a drawing of a tree his son had made. There was so much unity, love and sweet and personal touches to involve his son and it melted our hearts! Congratulations again to Lauren, Pete and the start of their new family!
