Lizzie and Bobby met me for their Cross Estate Gardens engagement session last August. This session took place late evening while the crickets started to chirp in the meadows. *Sigh* we love a good summer session when the days are long. I had so much fun with this sweet couple celebrating their love before their October wedding at David’s Country Inn!

How did you meet & get engaged?

“Lizzie and Bobby first met back in 2015 at the University of Scranton but it was not until the next year that their story began. It was Labor Day weekend 2016 and they were hanging out with their group of friends on the back porch of Lizzie’s house. They both noticed a connection right away and started dating a few weeks later. Their relationship continued past their graduation in 2018 and they both stayed at Scranton for grad school. They graduated in 2020 and spent a few months long distance while Lizzie finished her clinicals and Bobby started his first job in NJ.”

“In March 2021, Lizzie moved to NJ and lived with Bobby and his parents while she started her new job. In July of that same year, Lizzie and Bobby moved to their first apartment and adopted two kittens, Minnow and Guppy. Shortly after, the apartment flooded in Hurricane Ida and they moved back in with Bobby’s parents. A month later, they found and moved into a new apartment where they currently reside.”

“Bobby proposed to Lizzie on September 23rd of 2022, which just so happened to be his birthday. It was the perfect front to keep it a surprise so she wouldn’t see it coming.”
