Breena and Jarrod met up with us at Halifax in Hoboken by the bar for some cocktails to kick off the evening! We began their engagement session here and then once they finished their drinks, we all journeyed outside along the Hoboken waterfront. It was a particularly breezy night along the water, but they were troopers about it! We always say, chillier days make for cozier sessions! We loved that Breena stole Jarrod’s coat by the end.

New York City and Hoboken are where these two hail from and it’s the place where their relationship really got started, and continues to grow!

We talked, we laughed, they danced in the streets. It was a blissful evening! Now we can’t wait for their November wedding at the Ryland Inn later this year!!

Tell us about yourselves!

“We met at a bar in NYC in October 2021 when I (Jarrod) was living in Tribeca. Breena went to Manhattan College and lived in the city for 10 years before we met. I grew up and went to college in VA before accepting a job at ESPN in CT for 5 years, moved to Florida for 5 years before taking a job up at NBC Sports in the summer of 2021. I direct and write sports features and documentaries so I travel a lot. But Breena has always felt like home – even from our first meeting, it’s felt like we’ve known each other all along. We were engaged at Dino & Harry’s in Hoboken in December 2023. And we have lived in uptown Hoboken together since September 2022.”
