Indoor at-home family sessions can also be accompanied with a quick stop by a nearby park for some outdoor light! Keep it simple though, find a scenic place close to home. The whole point of an at-home session is to make your life easier with less hassle of traveling!

When Brittney and Brian asked if we were available to photograph their new addition to the family, we were so excited. It’s such a special time introducing a big brother to his new little brother. And Brooks was so wonderful with Luke. We started the session at home, which if you don’t already know why that’s a good idea – check out some of our other posts about it! It makes things so much easier, comfortable and natural. For this session, though, we moved to a nearby park at the end so Brooks could run around. We don’t always require a second location for this type of family session, but it’s definitely nice if you have a familiar spot nearby! This little family goes to this park all the time, so it was nice for a change of scenery.
