Surrounded by the enchanting cherry blossoms of Ringwood, New Jersey, Marissa and Vincent met with me in April for a picturesque Springtime engagement session at the stunning Skylands Manor.
Their love story, spanning a decade, found its perfect setting amidst the vibrant pastel hues of Springtime. As the golden hour sun cast its warm glow upon the blossoms, Marissa radiated in a floral dress, a beautiful homage to the season’s elegance.
Against the backdrop of the Manor’s regal architecture, the couple’s affection bloomed, documented in every frame as they shared tender moments, piggyback rides and exchanged loving glances. Amidst the fragrant air and the gentle rustle of the cherry blossom trees, their laughter echoed, a testament to the joy they found in each other’s company.
As we explored the grounds, their love story unfolded before my eyes, a tale of enduring commitment and unwavering devotion. As the day drew to a close, the sky painted a masterpiece of hues, mirroring the depth of their love. In the embrace of nature’s beauty, Marissa and Vincent’s engagement session became a timeless memory, marking the beginning of their journey towards forever. Although they’ve been together for 10 years, the Spring marked a renewal of their love and this next chapter of their lives together.
“We’ve pretty much known each other our whole lives since Vin went to school with my sister. We started ‘talking’ after my 8th grade graduation party and made it official my freshman year of high school. We’ve been together ever since (9 years!!!) and he is truly my soulmate and best friend.
We got engaged at the Liberty House in Jersey City. I thought it was just a birthday dinner but Vin had other plans in mind! Vin surprised me by asking a waitress to take our picture right in front of the NYC skyline and popped the question. It was absolutely perfect followed by a delicious meal!!”
Marissa and Vincent are getting married at The Estate at Florentine Gardens in September 2024.
