Sarah & Joel chose Allaire State Park in the fall for their engagement session. This session was double the fun because we had two surprise guests… their mini, long-haired dachshunds – Maurice & Peter! We definitely and intentionally buried the lead here for a reason. Steve and I are always excited when a couple decides to bring their dog(s) to an engagement session. However, dachshunds are one of our absolute favorite types of dogs!

Steve’s family has a mini dachshund, and we are obsessed with her. Before finding Indie, our little Australian Shepherd / Cattle dog mix, we considered adopting a dachshund ourselves. These two mini long-haired doxies had such personality! We are so glad they brought them to Allaire State Park.

Adorable dogs aside, we loved working with Sarah and Joel. They weren’t afraid to laugh together. We are so excited to photograph their wedding this November at The Grove at Centerton!
