There is so much to say about Filomena & Denis’s Waterloo Village wedding! Where do we even begin? Filomena had clear vision for her day; late Fall vibes, a little Game of Thrones Queen of the North inspiration and a moody feel to the wedding day.
Filomena’s dress was to die for, and there was a lot of customization from the brilliant Veronica at Vesa Brides in Nutley, NJ. To top it off, she had a crown made by Amaroq Design. She completely nailed the look of a reigning queen.
Nothing could beat the look on Denis’s face when he saw her for their first look. They chose to do their first look on the bridge at Waterloo Village. The bridge is such a lovely, intimate spot.
Their ceremony was held in ambient candle-light in front of Waterloo’s gorgeous stone fireplace. In honor of Filomena’s father who is no longer with us, there were little foxes placed around ceremony and reception. We believe her father was with them in spirit, you could feel the energy in the room. And we definitely appreciate his nickname Fox, which is why they chose to have little foxes hidden everywhere.
Big, bold lit L O V E letters were so fun to take photos in front of, we even went back out at night for some more! The dancing was also lit, and this family knew how to party. We had so much fun with Filomena & Denis and their bridal party. Waterloo’s historical buildings make such a wonderful, alternative backdrop for photos. This is one of our favorite J.A.M. catering locations, and we highly recommend it to anyone still venue hunting!
