SO thankful for snow days, otherwise I have no idea when I would have finally gotten this amazing styled shoot blogged! This all started when I was picking up my niece from school, and I glanced across the street to find a man who was selling various, large pieces of furniture on his lawn. That’s when I saw it – a glorious peacock chair with a $50.00 sign on it. These things go for several hundred dollars new. I had $40 cash on me and asked if he would take that. He said sure, so I scooped my niece up, drove to my parents’ to grab my dad’s truck and came back for that chair. I didn’t have any idea where I would store it. I knew it definitely wasn’t going to fit in my and Steve’s apartment. But I decided to buy now, and figure it out later. Fortunately, our landlord let me store it in her garage and it’s been sitting there waiting for a shoot like this ever since.
I met my new favorite stylist Ronya, through a mutual studio space rental, and started telling her about my idea for this shoot. All I had to go off of was my chair, and I had a model {Fern} and venue {The Glenburn Estate} in mind. Beyond that, I literally didn’t have any idea what direction to go in. I described my vision to Ronya and she brought everything to life, more than I could ever imagine. She brought in so many wonderful vendors that got involved, I was left stunned. Everyone did the most amazing job and truly went above and beyond. Please check out the list of vendors below. They were each nothing short of incredible at what they do. This boho-chic/minimalist inspired Autumnal shoot was a feast for the eyes.
