What more can we say about Katie & Will? We are so over the moon for them that they could finally have the wedding of their dreams at Stone House at Stirling Ridge. Some of you may remember, they were our very first covid-impacted wedding in March 2020. They still managed to have a brief church ceremony to make things official. However, sadly only a few witnesses were there – not even their own parents! Therefore, to be able to this all over again the right way with a party was what they absolutely deserved. And for us, it felt SO good to FINALLY work a real wedding again!

Some noteworthy things about this wedding were that both her mother and father were finally able to walk Katie down the aisle. This bride wore the most fun Hayley Paige dress ever! Katie could twirl in this dress all day. It made us so very happy to see a couple just straight up enjoying themselves. The pressure was off and they could just let loose and have a good time. Additionally, they prepped at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Berkeley Heights which is a great place to prep if you’re getting married at Stone House! Some other fun bits were the wine memory box during the ceremony, confetti poppers when they said “I Do,” a surprise groom cake at reception and donuts to-go!

About the Couple

“I [Katie] grew up in New York State and Will grew up in Northern NJ. We met on the train while commuting to work and school in 2015. We love to spend our weekends outdoors whether we’re hiking, paddle boarding or snowboarding. “

Description of the Wedding Vibe

Stone House at Stirling Ridge is naturally rustic, industrial, elegant, warm & inviting. Moody lighting with candle light. Bridesmaids wore long navy dressed and Groomsmen wore black tuxes. Reception details with lots of gold & greenery plus a fireplace with a real fire going. Aside from the donuts, the evening ended with an outdoor firepit and s’mores!
