Michelle and Stephen met me at Ringwood Manor last October for their engagement session, and it was everything you want from a fall day. Moody lighting with fall foliage galore.
We wandered together around the mansion, stopping by the ponds and large wrought iron gates. Even the Palladian windows on the facade of the building make for a beautiful blend of architecture and nature. We always tell our couples to treat their sessions like a date night. So even if we’re “posing” a little around stately grounds like Ringwood Manor – we ultimately want you to act like yourselves! How did Michelle and Stephen do that? Well they took our advice, brought some champagne and drank it out of really cool Viking horn mugs! We’ve seen a good ol’ champagne flute, but never a Viking horn! I said that they BETTER be bringing them to the wedding!!
We can’t wait for their wedding this November at The Inn At Millrace Pond!
“We met on tinder , our first date was at Thatcher’s in Denville and we were basically kicked out because we were there well beyond closing. (Same thing at our second date at Woodstack Pizza!)”
There was lots of talk about Steve proposing to me on our anniversary 11/12.
For our third anniversary we were heading to Florida but to throw me off course, Steve decided to put the ring on when I was sleeping. Steve then kept trying to wake me up because he was so excited. But this girl loves her sleep when she can. I woke up naturally realizing I had a ring on and then Steve asked me to marry him 🙂 on 10/26/24.”
