Wedding Details

Stephanie and Matt’s wedding at Rock Island Lake Club was the perfect example of effortless elegance. With a soft, earthy palette of greens and whites, thoughtful details, and a laid-back beachy vibe, their day felt like a breath of fresh air!

Stephanie and Matt wanted a simple, minimalistic aesthetic, which highlighted the natural beauty at Rock Island Lake Club. There was a romantic feel to the whole day, with timeless floral from Bella Fiori and lots of candles. The ceremony was held in front of the picturesque lake, which also was the perfect location for golden hour pictures later in the night.

The bridesmaids wore floor-length tulle gowns from Revelry in a mix of sage, rosemary, and eucalyptus – and the effect was S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G. The different shades blended beautifully! Stephanie looked gorgeous in her lace wedding gown from Lambs Hill Bridal Boutique. Matt and the groomsmen kept it cool and casual in beige and khaki suits from J. Crew; a perfect look for a summer wedding by the lake!

Once the ceremony had finished, the real party started as guests flooded the dance floor and partied all night long – you could truly feel the love in the air! After dancing the night away, everyone enjoyed a late night treat from McDonald’s.

Tell us about yourselves!

“We met online summer of 2020 and we went on our first date on 8/11/2020 (four years to the date of our wedding day!). We went on our first date in Dobbs Ferry at a restaurant on the water called Half Moon, the same place he proposed Valentine’s Day weekend 2022. Matt grew up on Long Island and loves going to the beach and hanging out with his friends in the city. Steph is from “upstate” NY and enjoys upstate adventures and travel.”
