After Monica and Mike’s engagement session at Waterloo Village, we knew we were on the same wavelength as these two. A love of fall, dogs and all things spooky. Their wedding at David’s Country Inn was sure to be a good time!
Monica and Mike’s wedding at David’s Country Inn was nothing short of magical—think old-world charm with a modern twist, all wrapped up in a cozy, fall-inspired vibe. The venue’s timeless antique feel paired perfectly with the warm hues of autumn, setting the stage for a celebration that was as romantic as it was unforgettable. The most memorable note was that it relentlessly rained the ENTIRE day. But we all made magic happen anyway!
Monica absolutely glowed in her Mona Bridal gown which looked as though it was made for David’s Country Inn, and Mike looked incredibly sharp in a Macy’s Ralph Lauren tux, matching her elegance with his own style. The bridesmaids, rocking velvety Revelry dresses, added a touch of sophistication while still embracing the fun, rustic charm of the venue. And Fleurs Divine nailed it with the florals, bringing the beauty of fall indoors with rich, lush arrangements.
Guests had a blast in the Metro Photobooth Bus, snapping silly and sweet pics inside the bus that perfectly matched the fun energy of the day – we always love hanging out with owners Fred and Sara! As the night went on, Excel Entertainment kept the energy high – they expertly read the room. I actually went to high school with Keith! Their lively tunes ensured the celebration stayed fun and upbeat all night long, and kept the newlywed’s friends and family on the dance floor until the very last beat. Not to mention, I got into it, too, and joined the bride while belting Alanis Morissette (usually my drunk karaoke go-to song, but I wasn’t drunk – just delirious from working lol!) That was probably the highlight of the day for me.
From start to finish, Monica and Mike’s wedding was a celebration that felt as unique and beautiful as their love. David’s Country Inn set the perfect stage, and every detail came together to create a day that was truly unforgettable.
Monica and Mike met through mutual friends in Hoboken. While they were all out at Willie McBride’s, Monica asked Mike if he wanted to grab a drink at the bar (because she liked his beard). They shared Bud Light and conversation and that’s where it all began!
Congratulations to Monica and Mike! Wishing you both a lifetime filled with love, joy, and endless happiness on this beautiful journey together.
