Tracy and Mike’s July wedding at David’s Country Inn was filled with joy and silliness. These two are not afraid to be themselves around each other! Mike makes Tracy laugh and what more can you ask for in a relationship?
The color scheme included soft hues of green, pink and blue (dusty pastels). The vibe was a high energy, summer party. Upon their engagement, these two had been together for 11 years so it was a long time coming! They had to postpone their original date, so they were excited to have all of their friends and family together. Tracy said, “…especially after 2020 we hope our guests are ready to be out and enjoy themselves!” The bride’s dress was Essense of Australia from Arlene’s Bridals and the bridesmaid dresses were from David’s Bridal. The groom’s suit was Hickey Freeman from Nordstrom.
Steve and I were accompanied by our good friend Carianne, videographer of Carried Away Films, so you know it was a good day! Whenever we work with Carianne the day just flows so well and it feels like a dream team.
In the morning, the girls and guys got ready on-site in the Warren Suite. Tracy did a “first look” with her dad before we left for the church. They wanted to keep it traditional so the groom would see bride for first time as she walked down the aisle. This is always ok by us as long as there is plenty of time for photos afterward! And of course, being July, the sun didn’t set until roughly 8:00pm.
Following the ceremony, we did family photos inside the church. Then we sojourned back to David’s Country Inn for photos with the bridal party. Finally ending with Tracy and Mike together alone, we used all the best spots the indoors and outdoors has to offer before guests started arriving for cocktail hour.
Later on, we just pulled the couple for 5 minutes of golden hour in between speeches and dinner. It’s always worth it to try to catch those last sun rays of a summer evening!
They finished out the night on the dancefloor so Mike could show off his killer dance moves!
We are so glad Tracy and Mike could finally have their big day!
