In the heart of New Jersey at the Art Factory, amidst the cold embrace of January, Cat and Pat began their journey to rebel against traditional wedding norms and celebrate their love in a truly unique way. Choosing the Art Factory as their wedding venue was a no-brainer for Cat and Pat. Nestled within its unconventional spaces, the Art Factory offered an alternative to the typical Jersey ballroom, perfectly reflecting the couple’s distinctive style and personality. With a vision of a “lush disco vibe,” complete with disco balls and greenery and pampas grass cascading from the ceiling, Cat and Pat set the stage for a celebration unlike any other.

Their wedding day was a testament to their love for each other and their determination to defy convention. The color scheme of champagnes, deep greens, and silvers created an ambiance that was both cozy and elegant, perfectly complementing the winter setting. The colors blended warmth with a hint of moody winter hues. The bride wore Jimme Huang from Castle Couture. The groom’s suit was from Nordstrom.

Prioritizing Friends / Maximizing a Good Time

Preparations began on-site in the bridal suite, where Cat and her closest friends shared laughter and excitement as they got ready for the day ahead. A first look allowed Cat and Pat to savor intimate moments together so they could join their guests later at the cocktail hour.

Their officiant was a friend, as well as their videographer. The bridal party, comprised of an informal group of friends, added a personal touch to the festivities, reflecting the couple’s desire for a celebration filled with love and laughter. Pat’s band even took the stage during the reception, treating guests to a set that added a unique and memorable element to the evening.
